Melizza graduated from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, TX with her Juris Doctor, serving as the Executive Editor of her law school Journal and as the President of the Christian Legal Society. She is a member of the Texas Bar and was a paralegal for 12 years before graduating from law school. Melizza is also a Certified E-Discovery Specialist and certified by the State of Texas Attorney General on the Texas Public Information Act. She now lives with her family in Moore, SC, and enjoys cooking, painting, and watching baseball.
